Tanya C. Bray

President

Tanya C Bray is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the President of LEVOC Family Services. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling and a Master of Education degree from Regent University. Tanya is also a Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP) and an approved supervisor for counseling residents in Virginia. Tanya oversees the daily operations of LEVOC and is responsible for its licensing with regulatory agencies and credentialing with third party payers. She joined LEVOC in 2010 and also serves as its licensed mental health professional (LMHP).


Tawanna M. Tynes

Director of Administration & Compliance 

Tawanna M. Tynes is a 1997 Graduate of Virginia State University with a BS in Business Management. As LEVOC’s Director of Administration and Compliance, Ms. Tynes literally influences every aspect of the Agency’s operations. She is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance,  managing human resources and establishing systems that facilitate smooth day to day operations. In addition, Ms. Tynes runs the Agency in the President’s absence. She is also a Certified CPR/First Aid Instructor. She has strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and leadership skills. In her spare time, she enjoys reading,  singing, shopping, church and being with her family and friends. Ms. Tynes has been an asset to LEVOC for nearly 10 years.


Amber DelFavero

Clinical Director

Amber DelFavero is a resident in counseling working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. One of her strongest passions is helping others successfully manage their mental illness to live productive lives and bringing awareness to remove the stigma surrounding mental illness and the need for its treatment. Ms. DelFavero’s areas of interest include addiction, mood disorders and anxiety disorders. As a veteran herself, Ms. DelFavero has a heart for active and retiring military personnel and veterans for she knows the obstacles they face in accessing mental health care. Ms. DelFavero joined LEVOC in 2021 and has established herself as a loyal employee, compassionate supervisor and very smart and capable mental health clinician. She is truly an asset to the LEVOC family.


Naiya Wright-Chapman

Clinical Supervisor

Naiya Chapman is a resident counselor working towards licensure in professional counseling in Virginia. Ms. Chapman received a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Virginia State University. Her passion is working with children and adolescents to help guide them through their stages of development. She also desires to help her millennial peers to heal unresolved trauma in their lives that jeopardizes their successful transition into full adulthood. Naiya's areas of interest include ADHD, ODD, Anxiety, Mood Disorders and Adjustment Disorders. She started as an intern at LEVOC in 2021 and her commitment and work ethic helped her to seamlessly transition into the role of Clinical Supervisor in 2022. Naiya brings energy and a youthful perspective to the Agency and her contributions are appreciated!


Stacy Pugh

Intake Coordinator

Stacy Pugh, a native of Portsmouth, Virginia has been a loyal employee of LEVOC since 2016. During that time, she has functioned in several roles and capacities. We jokingly say Ms. Pugh has not real position or title, simply because she does whatever we ask her to do. From connecting individuals to LEVOC services, to directly providing services, to performing numerous community services in the City of Portsmouth, Ms. Pugh positively impacts everyone she meets. Ms. Pugh’s creativity and ability to tastefully decorate on a budget is evidenced throughout LEVOC’s office. Her passion is bringing healing to families who have endured traumatic experiences. Ms. Pugh is a Churchland High School alumni and she has degrees from Bryant and Stratton College and Everest Community College.
